Looks very similar to traditional Kuih Lompang (tea cup kuih), but ingredients are a little different. Kuih Lompang is mainly made of glutinous rice flour(tepung beras); while Kuih Kosui is mainly made of all-purpose flour(tepung gandum). Fresh pandan leaves are blended into juice, adding a little lye water, after steaming, reveal vibrant natural pandan green, , with clear pattern imprinted from traditional pattern Kuih Puteri Ayu mold, topped with snow-white freshly grated coconut, white green contrast, beautiful and cute. When pull apart, soft glutinous stringpull inside, yet maintains QQ bounce back non-sticky texture. Pairing pandan coconut milk flavor paired with salty grated coconut, salty sweet combination, refreshing with a rich texture, so fragrant. Storage method: Best eaten warm after steamed.
